List of Umpires and Match Referees for ICC Cricket World Cup 2019

While we always keep discussing about team squads, players who might outperform others, venues, schedule, etc; we often forget to discuss about the match officials - umpires and match referees. ICC recently announced the list of umpires and match referees who would officiate in the cricket world cup 2019. The list includes 22 officials - 16 umpires and six match referees. Following is the full list for your ready reference.

2019 cricket world cup would change this stats, not drastically but surely so. While it is difficult to predict who would clinch the world cup, we can assume it could be Australia again, India maybe or the hosts England. Not to forget West Indies have some fearless young players who could go out there and play with pride. South Africa have never won one and they could clinch one this time, their first one. Let's hope for some great cricket!

ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 Schedule

ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 Fixtures

The ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 will be played from 30th May to 14th July 2019 in England and Wales. This time the format is pretty simple, similar to the 1992 World Cup. We will have a round robin stage where all the teams will play each other following which four teams that top the points table will play the semi-finals.

 The teams that will battle it out for the supremacy would be as follows:
